Its Graduation Time

May is the month for graduations. I know that next May I will be graduating with a degree in Business Management. This will be a proud day for me as I did not go back to school until I was 38. After getting married and starting a family I figured that I would never get my degree, but with the invention of on line education I have been able to achieve this goal. I hope that people who want to continue their education check into this option. I know that it is a big commitment, but it is worth it.

Western International University

Many people are wondering what employers think about distance learning. Well I have talked to some Human Resource Professionals and they say that this type of education is more widely accepted than people think. These are accredited University's, that cater to people who can not attend traditional University's. Even if you are not sure if this is something that you want to do, you owe it to yourself to at least check out the free information on their websites. The site will show the degree programs offered and then you can decide what you want to do.

College Degree Needed

As you may be aware more and more organizations are starting to require college degrees. In the 1990's organizations started hiring people without degrees and that is how I got into restaurant management. I did not have a degree and found an organization that did not require a degree. I am still with this organization and they now require a college education to be hired into management. I started an online degree program in order for me to move up within my organization. I have enjoyed this online, "distance", degree program because I can do this on my time. I currently attend Western International University and love the program. I would highly suggest that anyone wanting to complete or start a degree to check out on line degree programs. They will walk you through the whole process, from registering to financial aid.

Has anyone else started or completed an online degree program?

Online Degrees Are For Anyone

Young people fresh out of High School that are not sure if college is right for them need to check out an online degree program. Online degrees are not just for working adults, but are a good alternative to traditional learning. Many young adults may not want to attend school full time and find that distance education is the right avenue for them. No matter your decision make sure that you at least check out the online degree programs that interest you.

Anyone can earn an online degree while working full time

I went back to college in 2007 and in December 2009 I will have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at my own pace.
I never thought I would be able to get my degree after I got married and had kids, until the explosion of online degree programs. I filled out an information sheet on line and minutes later I was contacted by an enrollment counselor and I was guided through the whole process. The best thing about the whole system is not having to attend traditional school. It would have been impossible for me to attend classes on campus, but with online education I do it when I have the time. I would highly suggest any busy, full-time working adult look into the many different online degree opportunities that are out there.
